Our traveling companions..

As usual on our trips, we will have a coterie of stuffed animals to accompany us.

 Regular viewers to my blogs will recall that we usually have an election process to select the stuffed animals who will make the cut and get into the suitcases.

 Well this year, in view of threatened Russian interference in the election process, we have decide to select the candidates and do away with the primary and general election making anti-democratic appointments.

 Here they are:

Note the lamb who insisted on coming due to the large number of his relatives who live in New Zealand. The reasons for the others inclusion are classified and cannot be divulged.

To make sure Parliament House and the Parliamentary Library are able to withstand an earthquake of up to 7.5 on the Richter Scale, a special engineering system of base isolation was used in their foundations during the strengthening and refurbishment project of 1992-1995. Most masonry buildings constructed prior to the Napier earthquake in 1931 were built with minimal lateral resistance.
